Day 89 – Gloria’s Great Idea
I must admit, that in the past, I had not been very much impressed with Gloria’s responses. They were always near the bottom of the pack in terms of clarity and usefulness. But today, she came up with a corker of an idea. In amongst the crushing reality that she outlined, she made a great suggestion. So read on and the truth about PayPal’s chargeback process will be revealed.
Dear A Beleaguered PayPal Victim,
Thank you for contacting PayPal. We regret the delay in responding to your service request.
You will then need to resolve this matter directly with the buyer or use outside means. You can file a report with your local Police Department and follow this with a complaint to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). The IFCC is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. The IFCC will review and evaluate complaints so that information can be referred to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency. Every complaint referred by the IFCC is sent to one or more law enforcement or regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over the report. You can file a complaint with the IFCC at: http://www.ic3.gov/
Sincerely,
Gloria
