Another reply from PayPal, this time from Terri.

Dear Beleaguered PayPal Victim,

Thank you for contacting PayPal.

We have received your documentation and will keep it on file.

Your account has become negative due to a chargeback or buyer complaint.
While the case is in dispute, standard collection activity will continue until the balance has been resolved. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/ and follow the instructions provided for paying the negative balance amount.

Please note that we have disputed the chargeback with the buyer’s credit card company. Depending on the credit card company involved, the chargeback dispute process may take up to 75 calendar days. In a dispute over a chargeback, the decision is ultimately made by the credit card company and PayPal cannot control the outcome. If the chargeback is won, your account will be credited back.

We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and wish you continued success on PayPal.

Sincerely,
Terri

So is it 75 days or 80 days? Or are you just making up time-lines to hide behind? Either way it does not matter, because we know that Citibank (the Buyers Credit Card) has already paid you ….

Anyway the most important thing is that PayPal acknowledges receipt of the affidavit, so we shoot a quick note to Terri, to double-check that it is the affidavit that she is referring to. I wish those PayPal reps could be a little less vague. If they could just answer the question posed, in an accurate manner. Instead they just pad their replies with chunks of irrelevant and unhelpful pre-written snippets, that do nothing to move the process forward.
