I don’t think PayPal gets it. I wonder if PayPal and I are looking at the same case file. We write an additional email, restating the case, restating the evidence, emphasizing that the client had submitted a signed letter admitting that the chargeback was in error, and begging to know from them what more they needed? What did they think that they were missing?

Dear Sir / Madam,

The charge was for balance owed for the creation of the Website specified in the contract.

In regards to this case, you have been supplied:
• A copy of the original proposal
• The Invoice from us to the client.
• A copy of the email from the client confirming that we had been paid (with headers)
• A signed letter from the client admitting that the chargeback was in error.

What more do you need? What do you think you are missing?

Sincerely,
A Beleaguered PayPal Victim

We attach the requisite documents, in case PayPal … mislaid them … or- more likely – never even looked at them properly in the first place.
