Hmmmm…  Its been a while.  We have waited patiently.  Tried not to hurry those poor folks at PayPal.

In the mean time we have been totally, effectively shut out of our PayPal account.  Its a big negative hole.  We can no longer use it to receive payments as PayPal takes any new money received and applies it against the “negative” balance, that PayPal created by “placing a temporary hold” on the account.

We have received a few payments from clients in the last few weeks, but we are shut out from that money.  This is not good.

We write PayPal and request an update.


Dear Sir/Madam,

In regards to PayPal Case ID: PP-xxx-xxx-079.  The Buyer – Bart Thomas* – has admitted on 3/11/2010 that the chargeback was placed in error.  They have supplied a signed letter- a copy of which is attached to this email – and have informed their credit card company of this fact.

It has however been almost a month, and the funds have still not been returned by PayPal, to our PayPal account.  All parties involved in this chargeback seem to be on the same page, except PayPal.

We are concerned about the slowness in resolving this on PayPal’s part, and write to request that PayPal expedite their part; return our funds and fees; and resolve this matter immediately.
